Norman Liota is an accomplished fingerstyle guitarist with an expansive repertoire of classical and original music.
Norman Liota’s stunning repertoire, ranging from the 1400s to the present, makes him ideal as a concert performer, a dinner music soloist, or as the purveyor of an enchanting atmosphere that enlivens corporate events and enhances receptions. Although trained as a classical guitarist, Norman is equally at home in jazz, folk and popular music idioms.
Norman has recorded 3 CDs of original music – Over The Wall in 2004, Beneath These Skies in 2001 and his first CD, A Strange Voice, in 1999.
Having toured extensively in North America for many years, Norman is trying to adhere to the emerging ethic of living and working locally. Consequently he has limited his range and has come to be very much in demand for weddings, special events and concerts in Southern Ontario, including Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, Mississauga, Caledon, Milton, Oakville, Halton Region, Orangeville, Hamilton and Burlington.
When not playing concerts or wedding music, Norman performs at Einstein’s Café in downtown Guelph on Thursdays and The Royal Ambassador in Caledon East on Fridays.
